Welcome to Autumn Starr Studios. These Terms of Service establish the policies, expectations, and responsibilities for all students and families participating in private lessons, coaching sessions, workshops, and other studio offerings provided by Autumn Starr Studios.
By enrolling in lessons or services with Autumn Starr Studios, the student and parent/guardian acknowledge that they have reviewed, understand, and agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
1. Enrollment & Studio Relationship
Autumn Starr Studios provides private performing arts instruction, including but not limited to musical theater coaching, acting instruction, audition preparation, vocal technique, and performance development.
Enrollment in lessons establishes a scheduled instructional relationship between the student and Autumn Starr Studios. Lesson times are reserved specifically for each student and are not considered drop-in appointments unless explicitly designated as such by the studio.
Because instructional time is reserved exclusively for enrolled students, families are responsible for maintaining awareness of scheduled lesson times and studio policies.
2. Tuition & Payment Policy
Autumn Starr Studios processes lesson payments through its designated online billing platform, currently Fons.
By reserving a lesson time, families acknowledge that they are purchasing access to reserved instructional time, preparation, expertise, and studio resources. Tuition is due regardless of whether a student attends a scheduled lesson unless an approved exception applies under the policies outlined in this agreement.
Payments will be processed according to the billing schedule established at the time of enrollment. Families are responsible for ensuring that payment information remains current and that sufficient funds are available at the time of billing.
If a payment is declined or cannot be processed, Autumn Starr Studios reserves the right to suspend future lessons until the account has been brought current.
Failure to maintain payment obligations may result in suspension or termination of lessons until the account is brought current.
3. 24-Hour Cancellation Policy
At Autumn Starr Studios, lesson times are reserved exclusively for each student. Because appointment times are scheduled in advance and studio resources are allocated specifically for each performer, cancellations and schedule changes must be communicated with a minimum of 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled lesson start time.
Any request to cancel, reschedule, or adjust a lesson due to a personal conflict must be acknowledged by Autumn Starr Studios at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson begins. Notifications provided with less than 24 hours' notice will be considered a late cancellation, and the lesson fee remains due as scheduled.
Autumn Starr Studios understands that unexpected circumstances may arise. Illness is an exception to the standard 24-hour cancellation policy (see Section 4, “Illness & Health Safety Policy”).
4. Illness & Health Safety Policy
The health and safety of students, families, instructors, and staff is a priority at Autumn Starr Studios.
Students should not attend lessons if they are experiencing symptoms of contagious illness, including but not limited to fever, vomiting, significant respiratory symptoms, or any illness that may reasonably place others at risk.
Families agree to notify the studio as soon as possible regarding illness-related absences.
Students absent due to illness may schedule one makeup lesson during designated makeup availability within 30 days of the missed lesson. Makeup lessons are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to instructor availability.
Autumn Starr Studios reserves the right to request that a student not participate in an in-person lesson if they appear unable to safely participate or may pose a health concern to others.
5. Makeup Lesson Policy
Makeup lessons are offered solely at the discretion and availability of Autumn Starr Studios.
Families acknowledge that tuition reserves the student's scheduled lesson time and covers the instructor's preparation, availability, and reserved studio resources. Makeup lessons must be scheduled during designated makeup availability times within 30 days of the missed lesson. Makeup lessons are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to instructor availability.
If a suitable makeup lesson time cannot be accommodated within the studio's available makeup lesson schedule, the missed lesson will not be refunded, credited, or transferred.
Unused makeup lessons expire according to studio guidelines and may not be transferred between students.
By enrolling in lessons at Autumn Starr Studios, families acknowledge and agree to this cancellation policy and understand that lesson times are reserved commitments between the studio and the student.

To help protect student privacy, the studio will not publicly share personal information such as home address, contact information, school information, or other identifying details. Unless additional written permission is provided, students will not be identified by their full name.
Parents/guardians understand that photos and videos from performances or studio events may also be captured by attendees and that content shared online may be viewed or shared by third parties beyond the control of Autumn Starr Studios.

Autumn Starr Studios will make reasonable efforts to honor all opt-out requests for future promotional use. Media created or published prior to the receipt of an opt-out request may not be removable from all publications or third-party platforms.

Performing arts instruction may involve physical demonstrations, movement exercises, posture adjustments, and performance coaching.
Any physical contact by instructors will be limited, appropriate, and related to instruction. Students may always communicate discomfort or request alternative instruction methods.
Autumn Starr Studios maintains a professional environment and expects all instructors, students, and families to uphold appropriate boundaries.
13. Right to Refuse or Terminate Services
Autumn Starr Studios reserves the right to refuse enrollment, discontinue lessons, or terminate services when necessary to maintain a safe, respectful, and productive studio environment.
Reasons for termination may include, but are not limited to:
- ●Repeated policy violations
- ●Failure to maintain payment obligations
- ●Unsafe or inappropriate behavior
- ●Disrespect toward instructors, staff, or other students
- ●Circumstances that prevent effective instruction
Any remaining financial obligations will remain due according to applicable policies.
14. Limitation of Liability
Participation in performing arts activities involves physical movement, vocal use, performance activities, and potential risk of minor injury.
